Every great love story has to start somewhere, and ours began at a Halloween party in late October at Mulcahy’s in 2018.

We had a brief interaction at our mutual friend’s house while sitting next to each other in an Uber to go to Mulcahy’s. This is where Pete broke the ice in true Pete fashion…by introducing himself while sitting next to Steph and saying he liked men. Clearly, it’s not your typical cute first impression love story, but shortly after that encounter, we spent the whole night inseparable, laughing the entire time. Pete still brags about how great his pickup line was to this day…

After five years together, we took our first big step and moved into our first apartment. Shortly after, we adopted our first puppy child, Kato, who quickly became the best addition to our little family (and definitely rules the household). Within just a few months of living together, we got engaged!

Now, after 7 ½ years together, we can’t wait to celebrate the journey that started with a laugh and turned into our forever, surrounded by family and friends who have been a part of our story and supported us every step of the way.
